About this Event

Presently, there is a national dialogue regarding racial equity happening across a plethora of organizations. Many companies have made donations or a company response to the public but what are they doing to make changes in their own organization.

While many organizations pride themselves on diversity those numbers usually reflect the shop floor level. Research shows only 3.2 percent of executives and senior manager-level employees are African American.

Many of you have shared with us a desire to respond to the distress impacting your employees. It is evident many want to have impactful discussions with your teams and are unsure on how to facilitate these talks for the betterment of your people and your company.

Join us and guest speaker Cal Jackson, Tech Data’s global Diversity & Inclusion leader, as we share proven techniques on how you as a leader can turn difficult conversations into journeys to a more inclusive, progressive and productive organization, while you also hear of new ways to enhance the opportunities high performing persons of color across your companies.

This is a free event, but we ask all attending to consider making a donation to attend. All proceeds to this event will be donated to Black Girls Code.

Black Girls Code fights to increase the number of women of color in the digital space by empowering girls of color ages 7 to 17 to become innovators in STEM fields, leaders in their communities, and builders of their own futures through exposure to computer science and technology. We are thrilled to be partnering with them to make an impact.
